The CRIUS 100 online pH meter can come equipped with an automatic calibrator. The pH automatic calibration module will automatically calibrate a pH or ORP sensor at user defined intervals. It does this by introducing pH 4, pH 7 and pH 10 buffers selectively to the sensor. The patented, highly stable sensor lasts for 18 months in most applications. If the calibration is unsuccessful then the autocalibrator will introduce the appropriate cleaning liquid to the sensor and then three molar KCl to re-condition the sensor. After a cleaning cycle which is triggered automatically the unit will attempt to re-calibrate. Any faults are recorded and an alarm is generated. The CRIUS 100 pH Autocalibrator operates without any operator input for six months at a time.
